CELEBRATING 80 YEARS
1939 Trees Planted
We’d like to take a moment to thank you. The loyalty you’ve shown and the support that has allowed us to celebrate 80 years of prop rentals means the world to us. In celebration of this milestone, to acknowledge the growth of our relationship, and to show that our commitment to renewable design doesn’t stop with our rental model, we have planted 1,939 trees in Maza Atlantica, Brazil and we couldn’t have done it without YOU.
Our Commitment
Our partners at OneTreePlanted are working to restore 30 million acres of Brazilian forest by the year 2050. Doing so will not only rebuild trees, but will restore water quantity and quality for millions of people in Sao Paulo and it’s surrounding communities. It creates jobs and income opportunities. It will establish land management practices with sustainable values. It will save plants and wildlife that will otherwise become extinct.
Why Maza Atlantica
The Atlantic forest stretches from Brazil’s Atlantic coast all the way to Paraguay. It is home to more than half of Brazil’s population. 500 Years ago, this forest covered roughly 500,000 square miles. Today, more than 85% of this area has been deforested, resulting in the near extinction of many animal and plant species. While many of the earth’s forests face complete decimation by natural disasters such as forest fires as well as the lumber industry, much of Brazil’s deforestation has been harmed by both legal and illegal harvesting of wood to supply China’s booming exports of low quality furniture.
