Newel Props at Hermès Soiree
July 25, 2019
With a wide array of historical furniture and rare decorative arts pieces, Newel Props’ inventory lends itself perfectly as the backdrop for fashion events. Through the years, items from Newel Props have been used in events from Studio 54 to Bergdorf Goodman’s. Back in April, we had the pleasure to work with Anchor Street Collective – a Los Angeles based company that specializes in creating sophisticated and unforgettable immersive events- on their Hermès event at the Skylight designed by Jonathon Beck to commemorate Hermès’s latest New York boutique.
The event was centered around experience-based rooms; a Tapestry Room draped in floor to ceiling red velvet; a Garden Room emulating a forest; and a King’s Room which took cues from the Surrealist artist Salvador Dali’s extravagant dinner parties. Each space was paired with live performances and music enhancing the overall mood of fantasy. Newel Props’ pieces were used in several displays mixing luxury with quirky humor and avant-garde pairings. See the rooms below that featured some of our incredible inventory!
