On January 8th, 2025, we were thrilled to host the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) for an unforgettable evening at Newel Props. Over 150 SDSA members came together for a night filled with great conversations, shared stories, and a celebration of the incredible work that makes this industry shine.
Seeing so many of you RSVP and attend was truly inspiring. It’s moments like these that remind us why this community is so special. The connections we’ve built, the creativity we share, and the dedication we bring to our work are what keep us moving forward. Even in the face of significant challenges—like navigating a global pandemic and enduring the longest strike in industry history—our community has shown resilience and strength.
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us. Your presence made the night truly memorable. From the lively discussions to the laughter shared, the energy and positivity you brought left a lasting impression.
We also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible Newel Props team. The planning and effort that went into making this event a reality did not go unnoticed. From setting up the space to ensuring every detail was just right, your hard work played a huge role in making the evening a success.
